Tiger Cub

The Tiger Cub program is for first grade boys and their adult partners.  The Tiger Cub, working with his adult partner, completes 15 requirements within five achievement areas to earn the Tiger Cub Badge. These requirements consist of an exciting series of indoor and outdoor activities just right for a boy in the first grade.

The success of the Tiger Cub program is based on shared leadership.  The den leader plans out a year-round program of activities for the Tiger Cub den and gives continuity to the program.  Each month, the den leader also works with a different boy-adult partner team to plan a monthly den meeting, the Go See It, and the den's part in the monthly pack meeting.

At the end of the Tiger Cub year, the Tiger Cub den will take part in a ceremony at a pack meeting.  This ceremony marks the transition to the next level of Cub Scouting - a Wolf den.
