Cub Scout Pack 199 is located in Schaumburg, Illinois. Nathan Hale Elementary School is the school associated with our pack as most of our scouts attend the school. However, boys do not need to attend Nathan Hale in order to participate in our pack. Our pack size varies; we usually have between 60 and 70 boys during a normal year. Boys can enroll in the program at any time between age 6 and age 11 or 1st through 5th grade. After 5th grade the Cub Scouts crossover into Boy Scouts. The scouts are split up by age within our pack in groups called dens. The dens are as follows: |

| Tiger Cubs – 1st grade | |
| Wolf Scouts – 2nd grade | |
| Bear Scouts – 3rd grade | |
| Webelos – 4th and 5th grade, as this program is 18 months in length | |
|
The pack
has at least one event each month (usually held on a weekend) for the
scouts and their families. A
